The Captain
Captain Seth Lukas of The Omnibus Airship was orphaned as child. His parents were taken by the GovCorp secret police in the year 2137. GovCorp’s Juvenile Excellence Program then forced him through rigorous brain washing sessions along with advanced science and technological studies. He excelled in electrical engineering, but chaos was on the horizon...
Severe global warming was causing massive food shortages. He then drew up plans for a scientific research vessel that could time travel, allowing a crew of scientists to study ancient weather patterns and species migration.
Once he submitted his plans, he was contacted by GovCorp executives in the year 2145 to help build The Omnibus and was later assigned as Chief Engineer under Captain Belleza LeTigre.
After a timultuous and abusive relationship with LeTigre, she shanghai’d him on a remote Polynesian-like island in a parallel universe. Lukas eventually found his way bnack to his original universe and decided, with the help of Omar5, to commandeer The Omnibus and continue it’s mission of upmost importance.
His stoic, charismatic personality driven by a steadfast sense of justice has made him a leader worthy of the expedition. A newly formed master of martial arts and a survivalist, he is also not afraid to be the life of the party. A fool for love but also never abandoning his quest to save humanity.
The Wizard
Richard the Wizard, Keeper of the Cosmic Mushroom Patch, was once a slovenly, do-nothing bass player living in his parent’s semi-rural home. He has known Captain Lukas since grade school and has always been quite mischievous; never missing an opportunity to prank the Captain as a boy.
One fateful night, there was a flash of light and a thunderous roll shook the ground. A meteor crashed near the back of his parent’s property while Richard was smoking a doob and watching reruns. Upon investigating the crater, sentient mushroom spores entered Richard’s brain. At once, he had been transported to a psychic realm where the spores deemed him Keeper of their care and cultivation. In exchange, they would bestow upon him powerful abilities and teach him their vast knowledge of the universe. “Sweet! Don’t mind if I do!”
From then on, he was Richard the Wizard! Shrouded in mystery (and purple robes). How powerful IS he? He won’t say… Only performing his awesome magic when he feels like it…
The Scientist
Lisa-Jane Blackwell’s story begins in the not-so-humble world of climate science, year 2145. She obtained two PhD’s from GovCorp University; a feat seldom seen in someone so young.
She was then assigned the title of Lead Science Officer on the newly formed time travel expedition know as The Omnibus. “What a career opportunity!”
After she reported to (then) Captain Belleza LeTigre. She quickly became friends with (then) Chief Engineer Seth Lukas and a great scientific camaraderie was born.
She later became much closer to maintenance technician Omar Alonzo. A match that sadly never became a flame… Tragedy struck and Omar was no longer a man but was 1/3rd machine.
Eventually disillusioned by GovCorp’s plan to abandon this universe and colonize a cleaner parallel universe, she felt stuck between her desire to finish her research (and search for Omar’s lost humanity) and leaving the expedition to save the masses from the evil GovCorp plot. Falling asleep in her office during the mutiny by Captain Lukas and Omar5, she now finds herself stuck on a rogue time traveling airship full of clueless guys, racing across the Time Continuum to complete her research. All while avoiding capture at, seemingly, every turn.

The Cyborg
He’s Omar5! The Super-Fly Cyborg! Omar5 loves his drums… Almost as much as he loves fixing and repairing practically anything.
Born Omar Alonzo in the inner city, he was always picking up broken objects from the large, over sized garbage heaps and fixing them. Radios, watches, computers and more.. . You could say he always had a real fascination with electronics…
Upon graduating GovCorp’s prestigious aerospace technical institude, he was assigned to work on the Omnibus. Building day and night… The Earth’s future climate was at stake.
Fate it seems, was cruel on one particular day, when the ships core stability malfunctioned, causing a supercharged heating of the ships particle engine. Omar then had to shut the core down manually reaching into a semi-closed accelerator to pull a switch that was nearly 300 degrees. The heat and intense light radiation burned a third of his body and his retinas before Lukas was able to pull him out.
The 5 in Omar5 stand as a reminder that he is the product of a 5th attempt to revive him cybernetically. He now lives as a hybrid of man and machine. Wifi installed in his brain allows him to communicate directly with the ship. He is constantly questioning the nature of his existence being that he no longer feels human and has little interest in anything else other than his relationship with the ship and getting high with Richard the Wizard.
The Nemesis
LeTigre’s story begins in the barrios of New York 2130. Her tough exterior fed by an abusive, alcoholic father. She ran away from home to live on the streets at 16 and was mostly on her own till the invasion of the US happened.
Led by a joint coalition, the international forces were under no particular accountability. They ransacked entire cities and groups of male soldiers would accost dozens of helpless women daily. Till one such group happened upon LeTigre. She got the drop on them, killing all but 1 man with the quickness and stealth of the feral animal she had become. Losing her left eye in the process. The one man went back to tell the commander, who in turn, found and captured LeTigre. Not without noticing she injured half his men in the capture.
Not being one to waste such a talent, he offered her the ultimatum of prison or to go through the newly formed Juvenile Excellence Program, turning her into a highly skilled special ops tactician and leader. She was part secret police, part SWAT, part executioner. Till one day, her superior officer thought it would be nice for her to cool down a bit. He submitted her name to lead the expedition into the past via The Omnibus. She became captain alongside Chief Engineer Seth Lukas.
